HATS OFF TO OUR STUDENTS, STAFF, AND PARENTS
All four of the Mount Horeb Area School District schools, the Primary Center, the Intermediate Center, the Middle School and the High School, were in the exceeded expectations category on the 2012-13 School Report Cards that were recently released by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) for every public school in the state.
For the first time, DPI also gave school districts an overall rating. The Mount Horeb Area School District exceeded expectations with a score of 78.8.
The Mount Horeb Area School District success on the report cards is a result of years of hard work and dedication from our support staff, teachers, and administrators. They are also a testament to the amazing students and families in our District.
In my short time in the District, I have been very impressed with the educational opportunities we are providing for all of our students. We plan on using the report card information as well as other data to continue to improve in all of our schools.
This is the second year the Wisconsin DPI has released School Report Cards. More information is available at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website at http://reportcards.dpi.wi.gov/rc_districts .
