The four schools that are part of the state report card – the Primary Center, the Intermediate Center, the Middle School and the High School – were once again in the Exceeded Expectations category of the 2013-2014 School Report Cards which were recently released by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI).

This is the second year the DPI has also provided the District an overall rating as well.  The Mount Horeb Area School District exceeded expectations with a score of 79.7, which represents an increase over last year’s District rating of 78.8.

The success on the report cards is the outcome from many years of hard work and dedication on the part of all of our students and staff members.  This great achievement is also a testament to the amazing parent and family support in our District.

Even though this is a great accomplishment for all, we are not content with complacency.  We will use the report card data, as well as other information we collect, to continue to improve in all of our schools.  The goal is to obtain the status of Significantly Exceeds Expectations at one or more schools or at the district level.

More information is available at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website at .
