What a great solo/ensemble season! Congratulations to all!
Our music students did a commendable job of representing our school at the State Solo/Ensemble Festival at UW-Platteville. The many weeks of intense work were evident in the confident performances given by our students.
Soloists nominated for exemplary status were:
Vocal - Lauren Smith, Jacob Busher, Josh Busher and Brett Fredrickson
Instrumental - Noah Laabs and Alyssa Peterson
CHOIR SPRING CONCERT (5/15)
Our final concert will place on Monday, May 15, beginning at 7:30 pm.
It will include our school-day choirs and our co-curricular vocal ensembles.
CO-CURRICULAR REHEARSALS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Monday night: Chordsmen - 6:00
Chamber Singers - 7:00
Thursday and Friday morning: Madrigal - 7:00
Vocal Jazz - 7:35
Finale rehearsals during STAR: Sopranos and Altos - Wednesday
Tenors and Basses - Friday
EVERYONE on May 15 during STAR
Attire for this concert will be robes for Mixed Choir and dressy for Concert Choir and the co-curricular groups.

FINAL CHOIR PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR - GRADUATION
All members of Concert Choir and Mixed Choir will be performing at the graduation ceremony in the main gym on Sunday, June 4. Senior choir members should report for warmup after their band warmup. Freshmen, sophomore and junior choir members should report for warmup at 2:15. The ceremony begins at 3:00 pm. The choir will be wearing robes.

CHICAGO MUSIC TRIP
Our biennial music trip destination for this coming June is Chicago! Trip dates are June 10-12. A few of the activities are: "Aladdin", Blue Man Group performance, river tour, guided historic bus tour and Great America.
WSMA STATE HONORS PROJECT
Mount Horeb High School had nineteen auditions for the WSMA State Honors Choir, Band and Orchestra. Those selected will attend summer camp at UW-Green Bay and then perform at the State Music Convention in October.
